Motivational Autumn Quotes

Autumn is also a great teacher. We can learn so many life lessons if we observe nature and reflect on the processes that happen each year.

When you see the leaves fall, you know that the trees are dying, but you also know that they will be reborn in spring.

It makes you think that no matter how boring or tough your life is right now, it can change. No matter what hardship or trauma you are dealing with, you can always start over again, just like the trees do every year.

This motivational message is the most encouraging truth autumn teaches us, as shown in the quotes below:

33. You expected to be sad in the fall. Part of you died each year when the leaves fell from the trees and their branches were bare against the wind and the cold, wintery light. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person died for no reason.

Ernest Hemingway

I don’t need any persuasion; I hate warm sunny days, and prefer the cooler times of year. Summer is unsubtle, in-your-face ( loud music, everybody out and about,) whereas autumn and winter are much more times for introversion and reflection. I love the dark nights, love closing the curtains and putting the lights on.

  2. Kelly Taylor

Autumn has always been my favorite season and feels like the start of the year, not the end. The cooler weather, shorter days and melancholy of knowing winter is going to come. . .
