The world needs more positivity, wouldn’t you say? Keanu Reeves quotes are here to uplift and inspire us to be better people.

If you’re not all that interested in celebrities, you’re not alone. However, there’s one celebrity you really need to get to know better. His name is Keanu Reeves. No, you shouldn’t read up on him because he’s a handsome man, although he is. Nor should you learn about his wealth.

What really matters is the Keanu Reeves quotes that have been circling the internet. These uplifting quotes are genuine because Keanu Reeves seems to be a genuinely nice guy. In fact, there are Keanu Reeves quotes that prove the kindness he exudes.

A couple of words about Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves never lived a perfect life. In fact, his parents divorced, he went to, at least, 3 different schools, and suffered personal losses in adulthood as well. He lost a child to stillbirth, lost his wife, twice – once in divorce, and then she was unfortunately killed in an accident. His sister also battled with cancer, and he supported her all the way.

After all the pain this man endured, he went on to become an extremely successful actor. Then he donated to charities and many other individuals in need. He seems to be willing to embrace his fans with kindness, with mercy for those who slight him.

So, I can honestly say that Keanu Reeves has an insight into the world that some may not understand. I think we can learn from his sage words. Here are those quotes I mentioned earlier.

Keanu Reeves quotes

1. “Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, so live today!”

It’s true, and no matter how much we procrastinate, time is moving. But don’t get scared. Think of Keanu’s words and do some thinking. What do you like to do? What is your favorite color? Who are you and what makes you smile?

This quote simply tells us that we know not the day we will die, so it’s best to live life to the fullest. We cannot do this unless we know what makes us happy. Our desires and passions are what fulfills us now.

2. “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, and energy flows, with some kind of internal, emotive, spiritual direction. It must have some effect somewhere.”

Although this is something that Keanu Reeves quoted, I have heard the first part before. I too believe that energy cannot be created nor destroyed.

When he says this, he adds many directions in which this internal energy can flow. It can flow in passionate directions, spiritual directions, and keep providing a positive transference of energy when it leaves one place and moves to another. What an amazing idea and belief.

3. “Every struggle in your life has shaped you into the person you are today. Be thankful for the hard times, they can only make you stronger.”

He said it in truth. Struggles basically make you stronger. Some people may wonder why this is the truth, and I can tell you. When you go through hard times, you are tested, and you learn lessons at the same time. You are molded into a better person as you go along, year after year.

The good times are obviously what we want in life, but the struggles are what we need to develop our character. They also help us to help others who may be going through struggles we’ve already beaten.

4. “Try to be wrong every once in a while, it’ll do your ego good.”

I whole-heartedly agree with this quote by Keanu Reeves. Trying to be right all the time is definitely not a good character trait. If you can be wrong sometimes, and admit that you are wrong, your ego can be balanced as it should be.

Winning disagreements is never the goal when communicating differences. The true goal is to see the differences and take as much good from each situation. It’s never a bad thing to be wrong sometimes.

5. “How do I confront aging? With a wonder and a terror. Yeah, I’ll say that. Wonder and terror”

Some people embrace aging, while others only find dread in the process. Either way, aging happens, no matter the avoidance. We learn this in Keanu Reeves quotes like this one.

If we can look at aging as both interesting and frightening, we are being real with ourselves. I think Keanu was just telling the raw truth about how he feels about getting older.

6. “Grief changes shape, but it never ends”

When you lose someone you love, the pain is intense. So many people say that this sadness ends eventually, but I disagree. This quote elaborates a bit on how grief doesn’t ever really go away. The good news is the feeling changes. It turns from terrible pain to a softer recollection of what used to be.

Although the recollection includes tears and heartache, it also holds the precious memories of what used to be, and how change is inevitable. There will always be grief, we just have to learn how to reconcile with the fact that it becomes a part of us.

7. “Multi-culture is the real culture of the world – a pure race doesn’t exist.”

These are words we need to hear right now. With so much going on in the world, the truth that we are all the same and equal is a comfort.

Keanu Reeves quotes are like this are right. There is no pure race. Every ethnicity has its imperfections and their beauty. We cannot judge by the color of skin, belief, gender, or culture. We have to embrace everyone as one. I love this sentiment and this truth.

Powerful and inspirational

These quotes from Keanu Reeves are powerful because they inspire us to be better people. They help us to understand things and accept the changes in our lives. When we feel like negativity is the only thing left for the world, and feel overwhelmed by the ugliness of wars, we can remember that there are little things of beauty like love and simple human kindness.

Thank you, Mr. Reeves, for sharing your wealth with charities and those in need, and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us as well.
