Parapsychological phenomena have been studied by divisions of science across the world in various capacities. One such study is pertaining to telepathic communication between a waking individual and a dreaming person.

I’ve covered many aspects of what I believe our dreams mean through other articles, regarding spiritual existence or subconscious development in understanding, as well as the various types of dreams we can have and how they should or should not be interpreted.

This article, though, dealing with quantum entanglement and studies pertaining to non-spiritual dreams, is a completely different type of dream which is influenced by that which surrounds the sleeping person, not from what is within them.

One of the experiments done in the mid-1960s, in Maimonides Medical Center in New York, was conducted to test the hypothesis that people could actively mandate what they would dream of that night, which was referred to as “priming” their dreams.

This study was conducted by MD Montague Ullman and Stanley Krippner with his extensive background in psychology and parapsychology. Over ten years, these studies yielded significant results which helped to define the future development of studies in dreams and telepathic communication, as are being conducted today by many facilities across the world.

How It Works

The basis of the aforementioned experiment was that the human mind, through quantum entanglement (the statement and suggestion that all things are unified through quantum mechanics in thought, energy, etc.), can be used similarly to an antenna.

Think of it like a radio frequency, which obviously isn’t the perfect analogy, but may help to understand – different channels, when tuned in on, will pick up different frequencies on your radio. This is because of the sonic frequency at which the sounds are being broadcast, the wavelength that is received can then be set to that specific frequency.

Much like this, two people would meet briefly, and one would turn themselves into a receiver (tuned in) for the other, who would be trying to send. The sender would then be given a topic after the two individuals were separated, and the receiver would go to sleep.

Immediately after REM, or Rapid Eye Movement, the point of sleep at which we regenerate the fastest and dream the hardest, has been achieved, the scientist or doctor would awaken the receiver for an immediate recounting on the dream.

The Experiments on Telepathic Communication and Dreams

While there are a large number of sessions which were significant toward the development of practices which are used today, as well as the turning of the hypothesis into a theory, and further supporting the theory of quantum mechanics, I will only focus on two primary examples which stood out from Krippner and Ullman, and primarily to further explain the practice and standard results the scientists were getting.

The first of these is the “School of Dance” in which the sender used a printed by Edgar Degas which depicted a room full of young dancers. When the receiver was awoken, he reported many fascinating things, such as,

I was in a class made up of half a dozen people, it felt like a school. There was one little girl that was trying to dance with me.”

The second example I’d like to mention is a long-distance experiment, conducted within 100 miles, and with 5 participants. The image which was sent by the senders was a series of birds, eagles, mythological phoenix, and even used audial stimulation. Two of the five receivers reported seeing a phoenix or a number of seagulls.

In all honesty, we have absolutely no way of explaining how all of this works. Typically, this is common ground with all parapsychology evaluations which bear fruit – we acknowledge what is happening but can’t detect it or say why.

What it means, though, is phenomenal; to consider that telepathic communication over a hundred miles is feasible if the “frequencies” are tuned accurately enough to travel effectively through quantum entanglement is just the starting point.

If images or audial perceptions can be transmitted simply through thought and focus, and this ability can be capitalized on by our race, the potentials become limitless.

Communication with animals, fully understanding one another, removal of cell phones and their influence from our lives, better counseling and therapeutic care, and many other things can be achieved by furthering these studies.
