Human beings are really unique, and we can clearly see it in these incredible cases of people with superpowers.

1. The Human Computer

Daniel Tammet from the UK suffers from autism, hardly speaks, does not distinguish between left and right, and cannot insert the plug into the outlet. But at the same time, he easily performs complex mathematical calculations in his mind.

Daniel knows the 22514 digits of pi by heart and speaks eleven languages: English, French, Finnish, German, Estonian, Spanish, Romanian, Icelandic (which he learned in 7 days), Lithuanian, Welsh, and the ‘universal’ language Esperanto.

2. The Dolphin Boy

A young man from Sacramento (CA) Ben Underwood was born a perfectly healthy baby, but his eyes were surgically removed because of cancer of the retina at the age of three. However, Ben went on to live a full life of a sighted person.

Medical tests showed that the boy had the hearing of the average person, but his brain learned to translate sounds into visual information, which gave the young person an ability to capture the echo. Based on this echo, he is able to determine the precise location of objects, just like a bat or a dolphin.

3. The Rubber Boy

Daniel Browning Smith from the United States is a five-time Guinness record holder. He began to twist his body at the age of four. Soon Daniel realized what a talent he possessed, and at age 18, he ran away from home with a circus troupe.

4. The Metal Eater

Frenchman Michel Lotito, born in 1950, discovered his amazing ability at the age of 9 when he scared his parents to death, having eaten a TV. From his 16, he began to entertain people for money with performances where he ate metal, glass, and rubber.

The interesting thing is that Lotito’s body never shows any side effects, even when he eats materials containing toxic substances.

5. The Real-Life Magneto

Liew Thow Lin in his 70 years managed to pull a car with an iron chain attached to an iron plate on his stomach.

Liew Thow Lin considers his ability to attract metal objects hereditary since his three sons and two grandchildren are endowed with the same amazing and incredible gift.

6. The Sleepless Man

Thai Ngoc, a 64-year-old Vietnamese man, forgot what sleep was after he had been ill with a fever in 1973. Since then, he stopped sleeping. Till now, he has not slept for 37 years, which is more than 13,500 sleepless nights.

These people with superpowers seem to have walked straight out of a sci-fi novel or a Marvel movie.

    • yeah thats true but we haven't discovered all numbers of pi. he just knows the 22514 numbers of pi that are known so far by mathematicians who have 'decoded' pi

  • yeah pi never ends but it is amazing how he can memorize 22514 of them ! and the sleepless man , doesn't he get tired ??

  • Woah woah woah, magnetic man?? And it's hereditary?!?!
And THIRTY SEVEN YEARS with no sleep?!?!???! I mean, the man must have some sort of deep meditation state he goes in or something...he can't just be up and productive alllllll the time.

    • You see, this man goes into a resting state like gold fish do. Goldfish never actually sleep but rather go into a state of rest and when there is danger nearby they can sense it and swim away.

    • This is most likely caused by naturally high levels of iron which may be because it is a disease that has spread through the family giving them high levels of iron and therefore allowing magnetic objects attract to him.

  • Also about the sleepless man. There is a prediction that has not yet been solved if humans can live without sleeping. I personally think yes due to the fact that sleep allows to recover and recuperate the energy that been expelled from day to day activities. Also sleep helps the body to better fight sicknesses that are gained because the body is not currently having to focus doing its normal tasks.
