Sometimes, when you find yourself in some awkward situations, this may indicate that you are walking the wrong path in life.

Every person is walking their own individual path in life. There are more than a million different roads you can take, and neither one of them will be wrong; the journeys will just vary depending on which one is taken.

But oftentimes in life, we may find ourselves feeling lost or stuck on a particular road – or that perhaps we are on the wrong path, which doesn’t lead to our desired destination. If you pay attention, there are usually gentle and subtle signs from the Universe that will tell you if you are on the wrong path.

Here are ten indications that can help you steer yourself back in the right direction.

1. Being stressed or anxious

If you find yourself feeling a rush of anxiety in the pit of your stomach, something is amiss. It might mean that whatever it is surrounding, whether it is a person or a place, needs to change. Only you can know for sure what is causing it – by honestly thinking and questioning yourself, you will get to the bottom of it.

It should be noted that prolonged stress of any kind is already in itself an alarm bell that immediate changes need to be made in your life.

2. Always getting sick

Getting the flu or a cough every now and then is normal. But if you find yourself often unwell, it indicates that you are not living your life on your own terms; others have too much of a say in your decisions.

It is also an obvious sign that you are not taking care of yourself and need to start prioritising yourself more.

3. Being forgetful

Losing and repeatedly forgetting things could mean that you need to take a deep breath and relax your mind. It is being overworked which is never going to help.

4. Being accident-prone

Similar to point number three, having careless accidents could mean that you need to slow down and pay more attention to your surroundings. Trusting your intuition comes with a feeling of being in control of your life, and, therefore, being on the right track.

5. Feeling bored

A prolonged feeling of boredom is perhaps the biggest sign from the Universe that you are not living up to your full potential and you are not realising your dreams. The world is vast and full of opportunities; there should be no reason to be bored.

If this problem persists, it could mean that you are used to living in your comfort zones and resist change. A gentle way of easing yourself out of this rut is by picking up a new hobby that doesn’t demand too much change.

6. Lacking the will to finish things

If you tend to start projects but never finish them, it could be a sign that you are unbalanced and not grounded in your life. It might also mean that the things you are pursuing are not in alignment with your life goals and ambitions.

You can tackle this by looking within yourself and giving in to the flow of the Universe – this way, you can trust that whatever path appears before you are in your best interest.

7. Always being late

Regardless of if you are late because of someone else’s fault or your own, consistently being late could mean that you do not have a firm grasp on your time. This is the total opposite of how things work when you are in harmony with the Universe. When time flows in perfect sync with your life, it is believed to mean that you are on the right path.

8. Having a cluttered environment

If despite your best efforts, you can’t seem to shake off the clutter in your life, it might be a sign from the Universe that you are not addressing some hard truths in your life.

It could also surprisingly show that you are running away from a past event that you have not yet had closure with. Resolving these issues is believed to almost magically remove that stubborn clutter from your life.

9. Avoiding thinking about things

If you don’t want to think or talk about certain things, it can derail you and take the direction away from your life. Usually, it is because you are afraid of hearing the answer, or you know the answer already but do not have the courage to take action.

Either way, suppressing your emotions not only damages your health but disconnects you from your soul and steers you away from your true life path.

10. Dropping or breaking things

If this sounds like you, it could be an indication from the Universe that you are walking the wrong path, and, inadvertently, pushing yourself away from your own success. It could also mean that you need to surrender yourself and go with the flow, as mentioned in point number seven – especially if you feel like you are not progressing in your life.

What do you think? Do any of these apply to you? Do you feel that you are on the wrong path? Let us know in the comment box below!

Funny I’d bet if you show this to someone in their 60s 70s 80s they’d all end up with anxiety not knowing these are also signs of advanced age.

  2. Bolahgy

Hi! I have seen those signs, all of them. You are right…. I am stuck. Bad things are coming into my head. I am thinking suicide.

How do I go about it? … I want my life.

Don’t do what you don’t want to do. Don’t try to participate to other people’s goal or happiness. Just go travel now and don’t think about owning anything. Because you cannot stay truly happy, if your mind is attached to materials. It is the same way to fail as attempting to catch mirage

I am in my 60’s and totally agree with Dan, I can identify with some of these points but honestly its a fact with getting older! Bolaghy I don’t know how old you are but being ‘stuck’ can always come undone! Never Never give up, life changes all the time, it never stays the same, please don’t think that this phase in your life will ‘stick’ it wont, it WILL change!

Nimber 7 is a bit true for me but it is quite allright. . .I only do not finish things I strtedthat are unimportant or prove to be too expensive to complete 🙂

In a world of true choice these are very sound choices, ideas or suggestions however I live in a world that all things are as they should be, my subjective opinion of right or wrong is just that purely subjective.
We live in a universe that as far as science can tell us is approximately 16 billion years old and everything in it including us was created by it. The audacity to believe that we have any control over any of it is ludicrous. We live in the illusion that we have a choice in this life. The choice was made long before we were born into these bodies. Accept who you are and be you. You were only ever meant to be the person you are and you are that person for eternity. Have faith in the universe, it puts you exactly where it needs you to be in every moment. The same life force that created us created the universe first. Life is good, live it, love it, trust it.

I was trying to give you a thumbs up. Being a detox counselor is the most challenging job I have held so far. I am sure the universe has placed me here. I will stay until another door opens. I am strong, but this job is slowly breaking me down. As much as I teach, I learn twice as much. Thanks for the reminder that it’s not my choice, but rather destiny to help others.

Wonderful advice. Thank you, I’m saving this 💗

Guess I was BORN on the wrong path.. You described in this article my basic beginnings.. Hmph! Those things (I THOUGHT) are merely all part of the “Human Experience” right? Hmmm … I mean damn, no my mother didn’t want me after the Dr. Disappointed her with the TRUTH of his ultrasound reading mistake by telling her I was a girl.. The girl she never wanted. Who could blame her though!? Being a girl in this twisted group ment being subjected to torture by the grandmaster ( norm fams call her grandmother) the grandmaster molest all of the females in infancy, so that they hit puberty earlier than “nature’s time” so I understand why mother distanced herself from me. I SOMEHOW CHOOSE to rebel against mother and grandmaster when pregnant with my 1st child. So of course I was disowned by them which was freedom for me.. Until my marriage ended because my mother wanted a 2nd chance at being a “mom” so she seduced my (now ex-husband) and helped him kidnap my children away from me.. Keeping them hidden months and MONTHS at a time.. Until she died.. My ex kept the game going.. Now my baby who was 2 is going on 17 and doesn’t know me from a can of FK’N PAINT.. SO FORGIVE me if I’m not ON TIME. PFFFT.. TIME SCREWED me a LONG LONG TIME ago. No. I do not RESPECT TIME. TIME ROBBED ME OVER AND OVER SINCE I WAS BORN. FK TIME. LMFAO!!!
